Veronika Kot

Veronika Kot has been a Staff Attorney at Rhode Island Legal Services since 2008. Her practice is focused on education law and employment law. Prior to coming to RILS she worked at RI KIDS COUNT and the Rhode Island Parent Information Network. Before moving to Rhode Island she also worked at legal services programs in California (1989-1997) and at The Child and Family Policy Center in Iowa (Senior Policy Analyst, 1997- 2000).

Veronika is a graduate of University of California, Berkeley, School of Law (JD, 1988) and The University of Chicago (BA, 1984). From 1984-1985 she was a Fulbright Scholar in Mexico City, focusing her research on immigration and refugees.
