Position Description: STAFF ATTORNEY LEGAL SERVICES FOR VETERANS PROJECT Rhode Island Legal Services, Inc., a statewide program with its principal office in Providence, seeks a full time Staff Attorney working with the Legal Services for Veterans Project (LSV). Responsibilities include representation of eligible Veterans who are being evicted or at imminent risk of homelessness. The legal work of the LSV Project is comprehensive and involves housing issues, consumer bankruptcy and collections, expungement of minor criminal records, public benefits, and family law. Requirements for Hiring: Qualifications: Admitted to the Rhode Island Bar, the bar of any state or a graduate of a law school accredited and approved by the American Bar Association and the Board of Bar Examiners and a willingness to take the next Rhode Island Bar examination.
