Eric Bither is originally from Maine, and after a long and enjoyable culinary arts career he transitioned into the legal field. Mr. Bither earned his Juris Doctorate at University of Maine School of Law and his B.A. at University of Southern Maine. He is a member of the Rhode Island Bar, and the bar for the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
Mr. Bither has practiced law at Rhode Island Legal Service Inc. since 2013. Mr. Bither has handled civil cases with a focus on assisting the indigent families in the areas of federally subsidized housing and foreclosure defense. During his time at RILS, Mr. Bither has successfully represented clients in the United States District Court for the District of Rhode, the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Rhode Island, the State of Rhode Island District and Superior Courts, before the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights, and at administrative hearings. During his free time, Mr. Bither enjoys traveling, fishing, and being outdoors
